Introduction
This unit has been established to support software and hardware systems, and to manage office automation, network and Internet affairs.

Major Tasks and Activities
  • Conducting needs assessments with the aim of upgrading, replacing, repairing or purchasing required hardware equipment
  • Modifying and reconstructing the internal network, or launching passive connections in accordance with necessary standards and relevant documents to prevent technical problems, manage and control the bandwidth, access points, servers, examine server logs and equipment at different times, and make regular backup data and archives of software.
  • Maintaining and visiting servers, switches, routers and other network equipment based on a specified timetable
  • Providing appropriate solutions for solving software problems and improving systems, providing relevant units with consultancies on mechanization of processes, coordination with the IT Manager regarding signing software support contracts, monitoring preparation of backup data and archiving them.
  • Reviewing the status of affiliated centers’ websites and offering suggestions to improve them, learning how to design a website by visiting different websites, and keeping website’s content up-to-date (newsletters, etc.)
  • Arriving at a complete understanding of the settings of office automation software in order to teach staff how to use the software and address problems, knowing about the status of the system and its users (active users, etc.)
